For the last 10 years, a group of friends have enjoyed Speyside fishing trips. After their catch – or lack of it – they share drams and laughs in the region’s public houses. Over the years, the friends became entrepreneurs then fellow founders. Because it was here, on the banks of the Spey, the idea for Riverwood took roots. To help drinkers discover Speyside through its whisky.
We are extremely passionate about Speyside and its inherent beauty. Its nature, people and landscape showcase the very best of what Scotland has to offer. Speyside is also home to the world's best whisky distilleries. The aim, for us, is to shine a light on the lesser known ones and tell a few stories along the way...

Our Location
Riverwood’s headquarters are located at Dandaleith Estate, Craigellachie, on the banks of the Spey. It’s from here, the team hand select the whiskies they find on their travels. Every release charts our journey to explore hidden corners around Scotland.
